The Worm - 12/8/2024

The Worm was the second short film I made. I knew I had to improve on the first one, but I wasn’t sure how. With The Worm I had an idea in mind and decided to stick to it. I also decided to use simpler characters for it since it makes animating it a lot easier since dialogue can be represented with just head movements instead of mouth movements.

I can’t remember where the idea came from it just kind of came to me. I wanted to make it more comedic then Smoking Kills and I also wanted it to have more of a story then Smoking Kills, not that Smoking Kills doesn’t have a story.

When trying to improve on Smoking Kills I decided to make it ten seconds longer, funnily it took about the same time to animate this as it did Smoking Kills because of the simpler movements.
